This antique console from Harbin China has more to it than meets the eye. At first it seems to be a powerful piece with a tiny storage space in the center, but more than that is hidden away inside. read more |
The doors in front open up to reveal a much larger space for storage than seems accessible, but what is really fantastic is that the front panels on either side slide out to allow access to the substantial space within. The groove these doors run along has been incorporated into the design so that they add to its commanding presence. A simple wooden latch adorns the doors, fastening them in place. .
