Each chest features ‘sao-toshi’ iron carrying handles which ingeniously lock together and keep the pieces in perfect alignment when the chests are stacked. The four deep drawers are perfect for storing clothing. Traditional Japanese joinery techniques mean the drawers glide in and out beautifully. .
