Considerations

With today’s rapidly-evolving technology, it is important to bear in mind a few considerations on choosing your entertainment center:

The cabinet you purchase today will obviously accommodate your present components, but also consider what your future needs may be. If you’re thinking of buying a smaller flat-screen TV in the next year or two, do you really need a huge cabinet?
All entertainment centers or TV cabinets should be adaptable to your needs. Feel free to tell our design consultants your ideas to help you make the right choice from the outset. This applies particularly to the interior of the cabinet - shelves and cable holes should be where you need them, add-ons such as pull-out swivel turntables (for viewing TVs at angles) should be easy to incorporate, and storage for CDs, DVDs and other accessories should also be tailored to your current and future needs.
Will your entertainment center be the focus of the entire room, or do you want the room to be a multi-purpose environment? With the increasing popularity of home theaters, many of our customers are converting entire spaces to act solely as a place to watch movies. If this is not your aim, it is important to assess how much of an impact your cabinet will make on your room (usually determined by size, position, and even color).
