This updated version of the classic Japanese Step Chest makes an unconventional bedside table.
Versatile and unusual, the Small Step Chest has plenty of different-sized storage compartments, and the steps themselves will accommodate a lamp, clock, books and whatever else you usually put on your nightstand.
Its sliding doors and pull-out drawers are accessible from both sides, making it one of our most multifaceted bed side tables.
Available in Elm or Gingko wood, with your choice of stain and hardware (see options).

They are constructed of the same solid reclaimed elm and gingko wood as our full size models and use the same hand forged iron and brass hardware.
