Our Maru Dining Tables are constructed from original slabs of century-old Korean flooring. At 3 inches thick, these boards of Asian Pine have withstood up to a century or more of use in traditional Korean homes.
The beautiful patina and smooth feel of the surface comes only from gentle care and age; this ensures that your Maru table will withstand the centuries to come as well as it has withstood the last.
Both five and six foot versions are available. Should you have a larger space to fill the Wide Maru Table comes in seven feet as well. Take a look at the additional images for some alternate views.
The use of traditional flooring for the table top, coupled with using the original supports as legs means that no tree is felled in the construction process. With our Maru tables, as with the rest of our collection, we take our commitment to the environment seriously and keep close tabs on the materials and method of construction to ensure you get both an ethical and high quality product.
