The Wide Maru Dining Tables are built from original slabs of century-old Korean flooring. These 3 inch thick boards of Asian Pine have proven themselves against over a century of use in traditional Korean homes.
The smooth feel and handsome patina of the surface comes about through gentle care and age. This age should also reassure you that the wood's reliability is beyond question.
Make sure to see the multiple images available and mouse over the image to see the zoom of the surface to appreciate all the different facets that make the Maru Tables one of our most popular pieces. If you need to fill a smaller space, the Narrow Maru Dining Table and the Square Maru are ideal alternatives.
The table top is made of traditional flooring which is coupled with the use of original supports as legs. This means that not a single tree is felled for the construction process. The design and construction of each piece is centered around our commitment to the environment.
