This striking one piece merchants’ chest features a very large storage compartment behind two sliding doors. Three removable shelves inside make the storage area very adaptable.
The patina of the unfinished kiri wood cabinet is beautifully enhanced by visible zelkova dovetail joints and hand forged iron hirute hardware. The three lower drawers are framed by iron brackets and simple rectangular lock plates.
This piece would go very well in the kitchen. It can easily be fitted with custom shelving to provide a distinctive storage solution for linens and small appliances among many other options.
