This bench exudes a earthy rustic feeling with its dramatic wood grain. Its simple design makes it highly versatile, able to be used as some extra seating in a living room, entry-way or dining room.
The surface consists of a block of well-aged Asian pine taken whole from an impressive trunk.

But are they comfortable?
We are often asked how comfortable these solid wood chairs and benches are. While this is truly is a matter of preference, we are confident in saying that they are used by our staff every day and they get the "thumbs up". They are used around our dining table and our conference tables in our Toronto showroom.
Many of the chairs and benches feature a wicker inlay. Aside from being artistically interesting, wicker is a flexible material that increases the comfort of a chair by distributing the weight on the seat.
Another technique for increasing the comfort of a solid wood chair is to contour the seat. Some of our chairs, like the popular Shinto Bar Stools have an extra wide contoured seat for increased comfort.
