The Scroll Sideboard is a fantastic antique. You can immediately see how the wide drawers were perfect for accommodating documents while the main storage area would have held many priceless scrolls.

Nearly a century later, it is equally suited as a small sideboard. The large interior compartment can store your dinnerware, while the wide drawers can house place settings and utensils.

The design is a simple one, focusing on making the most of sturdy beams of solid wood. The delicate ornamentation around the doors and drawers made this the pride of its first owner; but their interplay with the well aged patina gives the scroll sideboard a charm all its own.
